This series of trailers had been ordered for the World Fair of 1910 that took place on the Solbosch, present site of Brussels’ Free University. They were placed in store in 1932 but not immediately demolished, and they reappered twice on the system : first in 1935 for extra services for the World Fair, then during WWII when all available stock was needed to carry a population deprived of alternative means of transport
