Modern cars ? No, only the coachwork dates from 1960, the underframes, the electromechanical equipment and a major part of the interior fittings originate from a series of cars built between 1929 and 1933 ! Series”9000” was the first type of tram allowing the driver to collect himself the fares, without a conductor aboard. This style of fares perception started on the buses in 1956, it was extended to trams in 1961, first of all on Sundays and weekday evenings on less trafficked lines. The last conductors disappeared in May 1978.
