Bus 8060 is a peculiar, one-off vehicle that deserves closer attention. In 1975, STIB acquired a series of 15 “Bus & Car Eagle 16” buses. These vehicles were equipped with a powerful Caterpillar engine (212 hp). A few years later, STIB decided to turn 8059 and 8060 into “saloon buses”, destined for VIP transports. Former VIP bus 8060 is part of the Museum’s collection.
