After a long winter, the Museum will reopen its doors during the Easter weekend. Until the end of September you can visit us every weekend and on holidays from 1 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
Unfortunately, during the 2024 season track works alongside avenue de Tervuren will still impact our heritage tram trips:
- from 30 March to 7 April: return trips between the Museum, Montgomery Square and Stockel (1950s trams), because the Tervuren terminus is still inaccessible;
- from 8 April to 31 May: normal trips between the Museum, Tervuren and Cinquantenaire park (“Belle Epoque” trams);
- from 1 June to 30 August: no tram trips at the Museum because the tracks outside the Woluwe shed need to be replaced during summer. However, our heritage buses will be running every weekend;
- from 31 August until the end of our summer season: return trips between the Museum, Montgomery Square and Stockel.
The Museum will be open as usual every weekend and on every holiday until the end of the summer season. Our heritage buses will also be running every weekend and on every holiday between the Museum and Schuman (line BM).
You will soon find detailed timetables on our homepage (“Download schedules”).
We will also continue the tradition of having our “Belle Epoque” trams doing trips on rue Royale, rue de la Régence and avenue Louise, on the following holidays:
- Easter Monday 1 April
- Labour Day 1 May
- Ascension Day 9 May
- Whit Monday 20 May
Timetable:
- Departures from Poelaert to Sainte-Marie (hh:mm): 13:57 – 14:41 – 15:11 – 15:56 – 16:26 – 17:11
- Departures from Poelaert to Legrand (hh:mm): 14:37 – 15:22 – 15:52 – 16:37
A ticket for these special trips costs €6 per person. It is free of charge for children aged under 6 years old. Attention: tickets are only sold before departure at place Poelaert (in front of the Palais de Justice) where one of our retro buses serves as a ticket booth. We prefer card payments.
