14/05: “Belle Époque” tram service on Rue Royale

On Thursday, May 14, Ascension Day, the MTUB will organize a special run of line BS (Bois-Schaerbeek) along Avenue Louise and Rue Royale. Come and relive late 19th-century Brussels aboard our “Belle Époque” trams.

Three century-old trams from our collection (motor cars 428, 346, and 1750) will run between 2:00 PM and 5:30 PM along the Legrand–Poelaert–Sainte-Marie route.

Boarding is possible at any stop along the route. The fare, payable on board, is €5 per person and free for children under 6.

At the heart of the route, at Place Poelaert, our volunteers will welcome you aboard a bus specially wrapped for the 100th anniversary of Brussels buses, scheduled for May 16 and 17 at the Cinquantenaire Esplanade.

For reference, the theoretical tram passing times are listed below.
