A PCC trip on the STIB network

En PCC sur le réseau STIB »
La motrice 7065 du MTUB

On Sunday January 31st, 2016, the Museum invites you to travel on the STIB network on board of two PCC motor cars from the 1970s and 1980s.

We leave the Museum at 9.30 a.m. for Haren, through Ixelles, via Avenue Louise, Rue Royale and Place Liedts. In Haren we will briefly visit the future “Maintenance Center Haren”, by historical bus and on foot. Afterwards, the PCCs will be waiting for us at the “Eurocontrol” stop.

From Haren, we will travel in the direction of Groot-Bijgaarden. Lines 62, 7 and 19 will take us to our destination, where you will have ample time (and opportunity) to eat lunch. During the afternoon, our trip takes us to the southern parts of town, to Fort-Jaco on lines 19, 82, 97 and 92. Arrival at the Museum is foreseen around 5.00 p.m.

As usual, there will be many different photo (st)ops along the way. Participants who would like to take pictures from outside the tram are advised to bring a fluorescent safety vest.

The total fare for the day is € 10/person (€ 10 for Museum members who have paid their membership fee for 2016). You do not need to make prior reservations for this trip!
