Motor Car 428 (1903-1935)

When the main network servicing the northwest of the city was electrified, the “Chemins de Fer Economiques” ordered two series of 105 motors cars. Motor car 428 is an example of the second series. It had a fully enclosed body, contrary to the half-open cars of the first series. Originally, the platforms weren’t protected by glass windscreens, outside lighting was provided by simple oil lamps.
